Film synopsis: Anne, a bright young student, faces an unwanted pregnancy in 1960s France, when abortion is still illegal. As her final exams approach, she takes matters into her own hands.  Based on the memoir by Annie Ernaux, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2022.
