Beginner's French Class - Spring 2021

Beginners French: “People who love to eat are always the best people” –Julia Child

Do you want to start learning French? Are you passionate about French food? If you answered yes to either question, this course is for you! We will spend the 8 weeks of this course tackling beginner French grammar and food vocabulary while putting it into practice in culinary contexts. By the end of this course, you will have the tools you need to order and describe food, read menus and recipes, and to write restaurant reviews. While this course is designed for those who have had no previous French, all are welcome to join.

This beginner course is taught in English by Emily O’Brock. Emily is a doctoral candidate in French literature at New York University and she has been teaching French for the last 10 years.
